Altogether there will be 11 awards in the following categories:

Innovation
Aimed at individuals who have brought innovation or change to their organisations or projects
Collaboration
Aimed at individuals who have demonstrated an ability to work exceptionally well with other parties in their organisations or projects
Leadership
Aimed at individuals who are leaders within their organisations or projects and who help develop those around them
Entrepreneurship
Aimed at individuals who have taken the initiative to effect significant and positive change within their organisations or projects
Sustainability
Aimed at individuals who have made significant contributions to the sustainability aspects of their organisations or projects
Diversity
Aimed at individuals who have helped promote diversity/equality within their organisations or projects
Ambassador Award
Aimed at individuals who have displayed significant achievement in encouraging others to enter the built environment sector
Inspiration Award
Aimed at senior individuals who have helped encourage and develop newcomers within their organisations
Employer of the Year
Aimed at companies who have excelled in providing education, training and professional development of employees within their organisations
Newcomer of the Year
Aimed at individuals who have made a significant impact on their projects or organisation within their first year of employment
G4C Champion Award
A non-entry award chosen from the finalists of the above categories that will recognise an outstanding individual who deserves to be held up as a guiding light and testament for the achievements of young individuals within the industry

Entrants will be judged on proof of their ability to influence their business or team to take positive steps as well as prove that they have made a positive difference to either their organisation in general or a specific project outcome.

All judging will be based on written submissions, there will be no interviews.

If you have been selected as a finalist you will be contacted by our awards department. All finalists must be available to attend the G4C New Generation Awards event on Friday 30th November 2007 at the Science Museum, London.

A list of finalists will be published in the Architects' Journal, Construction News and New Civil Engineer on the 1st November 2007; this list will also appear on the G4C New Generation Awards website.
